Gardens in Tayport

Last weekend we had the unexpected surprise of visiting some private gardens in Tayport.  They were open to the public as part of Scotland’s Garden Scheme, an umbrella organization which raises money for local charities.   This was the first time Tayport had appeared in the programme, so it was with keen anticipation that we visited the six gardens on display.  And we were not disappointed.  Six lovely gardens, each one different in location, planting and appearance.    To add to our enjoyment we had glorious hot and sunny weather.  I have put up some photos to show some of the highlights of the gardens.  As you will see there was an amazing variety of things to see in the gardens in addition to the flowers.  Happy gardening everyone.
