Pumpkin Art

One of the more unusual places to visit around Zürich is the Jucker Pumpkin Farm. The farm has become a great attraction for locals and tourists alike. There are farm animals to see, playgrounds for children and various restaurants and shops for adults, and children, to sample the local produce. Which of course includes a delicious pumpkin soup. There are also some more unusual delicacies such as their own version of prosecco, called kurbisecco. Very nice too and only 6% alcohol. This time a main feature was a series of sculptures made mainly from assorted pumpkins. These could be found dotted around the farm. I show a selection below, ending with one of yours trully pretending to be the King of the Pumpkins. Not much else to say about this visit – just enjoy the lovely sculptures.
